Pakistan drop Misbah, recall Butt and Farhat

Top-order batsmen Salman Butt and Imran Farhat have been recalled to the Pakistan team for the one-day series against New Zealand in the United Arab Emirates.
Pakistan Cricket Board selectors have announced three separate squads for the one-day, Twenty20 and Test series against the Black Caps.
Left-hand batsman Butt, who was dropped for the Champions Trophy in South Africa, has been recalled following a good showing on the domestic circuit. Farhat last played a one-dayer in December 2006.
Pakistan's selection committee, headed by Iqbal Qasim, have dropped middle-order batsman and former vice-captain Misbah-ul-Haq from all three squads.
Pakistan are scheduled to 'host' three one-dayers and two Twenty20 games in Abu Dhabi and Dubai, and will also play three Tests in New Zealand beginning in mid-November in a series which has been rescheduled due to the security situation in Pakistan.
